Another Fear Bites the Dust!

Face 1 fear every day

Face 1 fear every day

Okay, the truth is…I didn’t update my 100 Things I Fear list for almost the entire month of October.  Oy!  In fact, at one point during the month I recognized that not updating my list was actually holding me back from blogging.  But, I simply couldn’t muster the energy to devote to it.  There was a lot going on in my life and ultimately I gave myself permission to let it go for awhile.

HOWEVER, I was still facing those fears and writing about them in my journal.  So as of 9:15am on Friday, October 30, 2009 my 100 Things I Fear list is completely up-to-date.  Woohoo!

And now I feel light, accomplished, and excited about the next fear I am going to face, which is committing to posting every day in November!  Damn.  I am one crazy woman!  But, it is true:

On my other blog {Simply Fearless FEMpreneurs} I have committed to NaBloPoMo and will be posting at least once a day in November.  In fact, I am using it as a tool to get me posting daily and as a way to support my readers.  How cool is that?! You can learn all about what I’m doing right here.  Why not join in the fun?

Are you up for the challenge?
“Are you up for the challenge?”

I haven’t posted here for the past 2 days as a gift to myself.  You see, I joined the 29gifts.org and have made a commitment to give myself something each day for 29 days.  The past 2 days have been incredibly creative ones for me, which means that I have poured my heart and soul into a few projects leaving no energy left to blog with.  I missed posting, but it was important to give myself a break…especially since today is the 1st day of National Blog Posting Month and I will be posting every day for the month of November!

So what have I been working on that has kept me away?  I’m so glad you asked because I am excited to share with you that every new subscriber to the Simply Fearless Newsletter receives a complimentary copy of the 7 Simple Ways to Connect eCourse!!! This is such an amazing accomplishment for me because I’ve been working on it for so long.  Furthermore, one of my personal challenges has been coming up with the coolest ideas ever, starting them, and not finishing.  In fact, back in September I sent out a draft version of the eCourse as an eBook and was planning on nixing the eCourse all together.   And then, earlier this week I realized that I was stunting my own creative juices by putting so much pressure on myself.  So I decided that I was done pressuring myself (oh such a common theme for me!) and that I was going to open up to following divine inspiration instead of trying to figure everything out on my own.  And guess what? As soon as I gave up the pressure and control, I was immediately inspired to polish up the 7 Simple Ways to Connect eCourse and queue it up to be delivered one Simple Way at a time, every 3 days, over a 3 week period.  And that’s exactly what I have done.  Woohoo!!!!

So now every new subscriber to SimpleWaysCoaching.com receives the 7 Simple Ways to Connect eCourse.  It was originally inspired and written to help teens & parents connect.  But along the way, I realized that the process is the same for any connection.  So I went back and wrote it so that people can take and repeat the eCourse at any time for any relationship they’d like to deepen.  It is an amazing program that I am going to take right along with subscribers and for this time I would like to improve my relationship and deepen my connection with God.  I’m excited about what I’ll learn along the way and that would be so totally awesome if you signed up and took the eCourse with me.  Go here now, enter your email, and FEARLESSLY deepen your connections today!
